Soccer Game Preview: North Gwinnett vs. Harrison

The North Gwinnett Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Harrison Hoyas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with North Gwinnett sitting on five straight wins and Harrison on 14.

North Gwinnett is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Denmark get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering North Gwinnett have won 13 matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Harrison made easy work of Grayson on Tuesday and carried off a 10-0 win. Harrison are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 14th game they've won by 3+ goals this season.

Harrison's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine contests. As for North Gwinnett, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

North Gwinnett came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrison in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
