After a string of seven wins, Loganville's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson County Panthers. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Loganville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

Ava Joyce paced Loganville's offense, picking up four kills. Joyce got some help from Avery Anderson and her eight assists.

Loganville's defeat dropped their record down to 28-17. As for Jackson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-7 record this season.

Loganville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Habersham Central on the 9th. Hopefully Jackson County paid attention to the Red Devils' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
