Soccer Recap: Kokomo Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Kokomo was not quite Pike's equal in the second half on Thursday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for Kokomo in their meetings with Pike: they've now lost three in a row.

Kokomo's goal came courtesy of Gisella Herrera, who's now up to three this season.

Kokomo's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pike, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kokomo will head out to face off against Richmond at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pike, they will venture away from home to square off against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
