Baseball Recap: St. John's Prep Comes Up Short

St. John's Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Osakis Silverstreaks. Even if the Johnnies couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

St. John's Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Osakis, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. John's Prep will take on rival Upsala/Swanville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Osakis is set to square off against their familiar foe Browerville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
