Forest Grove extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 13-10 in the process. They skirted past the Newberg Tigers 6-4. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

As for Newberg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since April 18th.

For Newberg's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Forest Grove will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
