Holden came into Monday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the St. James Wildcats with a sharp 11-3 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Holden's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for St. James, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season.

Holden will challenge Parkview Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. St. James does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
