Football Recap: Aurora East Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a classic East v. West duel when Aurora East challenged West Aurora on Friday. The Tomcats were outmatched by the Blackhawks and fell 46-7. The Tomcats haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Mason Atkins was his usual excellent self, throwing for 208 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 81 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries for West Aurora.

Aurora East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for West Aurora, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.
