Baseball Recap: Greeley Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Greeley nor Putnam Valley made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Quakers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Quakers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Greeley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Greeley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hendrick Hudson at 4:30 p.m. on April 9. As for Putnam Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Mahopac at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
