Volleyball Recap: Lewis-Palmer Rangers vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils

Lewis-Palmer had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Fort Lupton Bluedevils 3-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

One reason for the win was Lewis-Palmer's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-5, 25-2.

Lewis-Palmer found their leader in sophomore Maddie Unks, who had five aces. The dominant performance gave Unks a new career-high in aces.

Unks wasn't the only good server: Lewis-Palmer was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Lupton didn't served any.

Lewis-Palmer pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Fort Lupton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Lewis-Palmer nor Fort Lupton have any future games scheduled.
