D'Evelyn faced Castle View in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Jaguars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabercats. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Tarin Cavanaugh paced D'Evelyn's offense, picking up four kills. Cavanaugh really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with seven.

Among those leading the charge was Talus Frederick, who had seven digs and two assists.

D'Evelyn's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Castle View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

D'Evelyn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Douglas County on the 19th. As for Castle View, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Niwot on the 19th.
