Football Game Recap: Valley vs. Holy Cross

On Friday, Valley was out to avenge their 6-36 loss to Holy Cross from the last time they squared off against one another, but the team left empty-handed. Valley were given a punishing 0-42 loss at the hands of Holy Cross. This makes it the second loss in a row for Valley.

The defeat dropped Valley's record to 0-3. The win bumped Holy Cross's record up to 2-1.

Next week, Valley take on Iroquois at 7:30 PM. Neither Valley nor Iroquois could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one. As for Holy Cross, they will face of against DeSales. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up next week.
