Basketball Recap: Pine Tree Takes a Loss

Pine Tree lost to Kilgore back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine Tree's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Kilgore, their victory bumped their record up to 17-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pine Tree will face off against rival Carthage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kilgore is set to challenge their familiar foe Henderson at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
