Kyle Dupill Turns in Season-Best Performance
Franklin Regional was led to victory by Kyle Dupill, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dupill rushed for 272 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 69 yards.
The win was the fourth in a row for Franklin Regional, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Dupill and Franklin Regional will head out to face off against Penn-Trafford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tasso Whipple Goes Supernova in Penn-Trafford Win
Tasso Whipple put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 249 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 163 rushing yards in the third games prior.
Unfortunately for Gateway, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Whipple. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Whipple saw the Gators), he rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Chase Lemke Leads Franklin Regional over Fox Chapel
Franklin Regional was led to victory by Chase Lemke, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Lemke threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 34 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
This year, Lemke has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 137.4 passing yards per game.

Landon Kucic helped snap Kiski Area's five-game losing streak. Greater Latrobe had no answer to Kucic on Friday as he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Kucic could be in store for another big game when he takes on Armstrong on Friday. When Kucic last faced the River Hawks back in October of 2023, he rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
