Interboro is a perfect 10-0 against Penn Wood since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will face off against the Patriots at 3:45 p.m. Interboro knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Penn Wood likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Interboro made easy work of Penncrest and carried off a 13-1 victory. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by eight runs or more this season.

Interboro got a massive performance out of Summer Burrell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that Burrell has launched this season. Mare Nagle was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Interboro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Penn Wood lost 24-11 to Chichester on Tuesday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Interboro is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Penn Wood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Interboro took their victory against Penn Wood in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Do the Buccaneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
