Purchase Line barely beat Harmony Area the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Dragons were the clear victors by  a  13-2 margin over the Owls on Thursday. The Red Dragons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Christian Moyer made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. He also  tossed a  walk, which is notable because Purchase Line is 2-1 when he allows at  most  two  walks, but 0-7 otherwise. Moyer was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season.
 In other batting news,  Devlan Kordish was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. He has become a key player for Purchase Line: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  three  hits, but 0-7 otherwise.  Stephen Perrusso was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
Purchase Line's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 2-8. As for Harmony Area,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Looking ahead, Purchase Line will head out to  take on Homer-Center  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Red Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harmony Area, they will be playing at home against Shanksville Stonycreek  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.78  runs per game on average), something the Owls will no doubt try to take advantage of.
