Volleyball Recap: Natchez Comes Up Short

Natchez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Brookhaven Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

Natchez's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Brookhaven, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Natchez is set to take on their familiar foe North Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brookhaven will face off against rival Sumrall at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
