Volleyball Recap: Pacheco Victorious + How To Watch

Pacheco proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Ceres Bulldogs 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-104) Pacheco actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-21, 27-25, 23-25, 15-10.

Pacheco can attribute much of their success to Olivia Rosas, who had 13 digs. That's the most digs Rosas has posted over her last six games. Graciela Welker also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Pacheco was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Pacheco's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Ceres, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Pacheco and Ceres will both be playing Beyer the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
