Volleyball Recap: Dwyer Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Dwyer faced off against Lake Highlands on Friday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Alexia Marchese paced Dwyer's offense, picking up six kills. Marchese got some help from Victoria Addazio and her six assists. Marchese was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Dwyer's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lake Highlands, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Dwyer has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Seminole Ridge on the 30th. As for Lake Highlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Union on the 30th.
