Volleyball Recap: Bailey Scheler Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win

Cheyenne Wells won the last time they faced Hanover and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hornets. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.

Cheyenne Wells' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bailey Scheler led the charge by getting 20 digs. Those 20 digs gave Scheler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aliyah Muth, who had four digs and two aces.

Cheyenne Wells' record now sits at 9-12. As for Hanover, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Cheyenne Wells wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Holly on the 28th. As for Hanover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Genoa-Hugo/Karval on the 1st.
