Soccer Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Calhoun County's offense. They came up short against the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ridge Spring-Monetta this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 last Thursday.

Calhoun County's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calhoun County will host Timberland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m.
