Basketball Game Preview: The Pinnacle Timberwolves vs. Arrupe Jesuit Generals

The Pinnacle Timberwolves will head out to square off against the Arrupe Jesuit Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pinnacle is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

While The Pinnacle didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They secured a 47-42 W over Lake County on Saturday.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Arrupe Jesuit beat Conifer 47-42 on Saturday.

The Pinnacle pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

The Pinnacle came out on top in a nail-biter against Arrupe Jesuit when the teams last played back in January of 2024, sneaking past 42-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for The Pinnacle since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
