Meanwhile, Lexington hadn't done well against West Holmes recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Lexington came out on top against West Holmes by a score of 51-44. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Minutemen as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mansfield Senior's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Things could have been worse for Mansfield Senior, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-34 loss to Lexington when the teams last played back in December of 2024.
