Basketball Recap: Macon County's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Macon County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 47.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Portland Panthers by a score of 46-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-38 back in January.

Macon County pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points over those games. As for Portland, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

Coincidentally, Macon County and Portland will both be playing White House the next time they take the court. Portland will head out to face White House at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Macon County will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
