Football Recap: Oostburg Skates Past Random Lake/Ozaukee with Ease

Oostburg never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Random Lake/Ozaukee on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 50-6 win over Random Lake/Ozaukee. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Oostburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landen Fischer, who rushed for 39 yards and two touchdowns. Another back making a difference was Charles Depagter, who rushed for 100 yards on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Oostburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory got Oostburg back to even at 2-2. As for Random Lake/Ozaukee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Oostburg will face off against Howards Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flying Dutchmen will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
