Baseball Recap: Mooresville Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mooresville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Shakamak Lakers 11-1 on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pioneers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Kolten Wilson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyler Denny, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brody McGaha, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
