Basketball Recap: Trinity Academy Piles Up the Points Against St. David's

Trinity Academy won the last time they faced St. David and things went their way on Monday too. The Trinity Academy Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. David's Warriors 84-41. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 31 points or more this season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was George Coleman, who went 6 for 11 en route to 15 points. Coleman's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Giorgios Panagos was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Trinity Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-6. As for St. David's, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Trinity Academy has already played their next game, a 91-45 victory against Wake Christian Academy on the 28th. As for St. David's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-65 win against Cary Christian on the 28th.
