Softball Recap: Pleasant Grove Wins Going Away Against Indian Springs

Pleasant Grove got themselves on the board against Indian Springs on Monday, but Indian Springs never followed suit. They blew past the Student 15-0. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Student: they've now won three in a row.

Kaleigh White was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ta'Riyah Riles, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Pleasant Grove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They are 7-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Pleasant Grove's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Indian Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Pleasant Grove will face off against Oak Grove at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
