If Tri-County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Grundy County/Newtown-Harris, they should've done a better job of containing Hunter Miller. The Grundy County/Newtown-Harris Panthers came out on top against the Tri-County Mustangs by a score of 49-40 on Friday thanks to Miller, who went 8-for-18 to rack up 24 points and six boards. His evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Preston Tovrea was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 16 points. What's more, he also posted a 63% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024.

Grundy County/Newtown-Harris' victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Tri-County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
