Soccer Recap: Valley Christian's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Valley Christian entered their matchup against Seton Catholic on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Valley Christian Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seton Catholic Sentinels. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Abigail Stipp, who's now up to 19 this season.

Valley Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4. As for Seton Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 16-0 victory against Tonopah Valley on the 13th. As for Seton Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Northwest Christian on the 15th.
