Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ellie Kuhlman and Kate Delalla Lead Lake Orion to Victory

Lake Orion came into Saturday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Dexter Dreadnaughts on Saturday.

Lake Orion was led to victory by Kate DeLalla and Ellie Kuhlman. DeLalla had 19 digs and three assists, while Kuhlman had 14 digs. Those 19 digs gave DeLalla a new career-high. Kendall Glass also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Lake Orion's victory bumped their record up to 13-14-1. As for Dexter, with the defeat, they broke their ten-match winning streak and moved their record to 23-2-2.

Lake Orion has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Saline on the 4th. As for Dexter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Bloomfield Hills on the 4th.
