Softball Game Preview: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Upper Arlington Golden Bears

The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves will square off against the Upper Arlington Golden Bears at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Worthington Kilbourne is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Two weeks ago, Worthington Kilbourne came up short against Westerville South and fell 13-9.

Scarlett Elder was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Josie Janosy, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Upper Arlington had just enough and edged out Bishop Watterson 5-4 on Tuesday.

Upper Arlington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-15 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Worthington Kilbourne, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
