Soccer Game Preview: Prattville vs. Oak Mountain

Prattville is 0-6 against Oak Mountain since February of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Prattville Lions will look to defend their home pitch against the Oak Mountain Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Prattville has five wins , while Oak Mountain has seven dating back to last season).

It was a proper cat-fight when Prattville took on Westminster on Saturday. Prattville skirted past Westminster 3-2.

Levi Smith and Richard Byard scored all three of Prattville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Oak Mountain's and Huntsville's game on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Oak Mountain turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. Oak Mountain's defense stepped up to hand Huntsville a 4-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by four goals or more this season.

Prattville's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Oak Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
