Basketball Recap: Wilson Central Comes Up Short

Wilson Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 72-61 to the Cookeville Cavaliers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (60), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Wilson Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Cookeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Wilson Central has already played their next match (against Lebanon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cookeville has already played their next contest, a 72-52 loss against Stewarts Creek on the 31st.
