James F. Byrnes has gone a perfect 5-0 against Riverside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rebels will take on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m.

James F. Byrnes is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Dorman, who was ranked 12th at the time (James F. Byrnes was ranked tenth). The Rebels fell 33-21 to the Cavaliers on Friday. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite their loss, James F. Byrnes saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Chanin Harris, who picked up 78 receiving yards and two TDs, was perhaps the best of all. Harris showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 68 yards.

Even if they lost, James F. Byrnes' defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Jackson Delaney with two.

Meanwhile, Riverside came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Wade Hampton with a sharp 41-15 win on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their three-point performance the game before.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for James F. Byrnes, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
