Basketball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester lost against Central Christian back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Manchester Panthers took a 36-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Christian Comets. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Central Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester will face off against Fairless at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manchester is facing Fairless at the right time seeing as Fairless is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Central Christian, they will square off against Tuscarawas Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
