Recap: Graham Red Devils vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets

The Graham Red Devils's four-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-33 victory over Jordan-Matthews. That looming 47-33 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Graham yet this season.

When it comes to explaining why Jordan-Matthews lost, one person who can't be blamed is Reagan Smith. Despite the final result, she scored four points along with 20 rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Yamilet Lozano, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Even though they lost, Jordan-Matthews smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Graham's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14. As for Jordan-Matthews, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Graham will square off against Cummings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cummings is on a six-game streak of home losses, Graham a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. As for Jordan-Matthews, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwood's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Jordan-Matthews' offense will have their work cut out for them.
