Red Cloud lost against Shelton on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11.

Aiva Rust paced Red Cloud's offense, picking up six kills. Rust got some help from Kayla Faimon and her 11 assists.

Red Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Shelton, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Red Cloud wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against East Butler on the 27th. As for Shelton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Overton on the 30th.
