            Basketball Recap: Westside Seminoles vs. McDonough Warhawks        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Northeast  on Friday, Westside came back down to earth. The Westside Seminoles fell  73-65 to the McDonough Warhawks on Saturday. The Seminoles were not able to make up for their  loss to the Warhawks from their previous meeting  back in December of 2018.

 Westside's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Joshua Harden, who  dropped  a double-double on 26 points and ten  rebounds. Harden's afternoon made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Christian Little, who  went 5 of 11  en route to 22  points and seven  rebounds.
  Zion Greene continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for McDonough,  going 9 of 15  on his way to 24 points and five  steals. Greene has been hot recently, having  posted 16 or more  points the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zaiden Greene, who  went 5 of 12  on his way to 11 points and seven  rebounds.
Westside's record now sits at 4-4. As for McDonough, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
 Westside will be taking part in a tournament against Villa Rica  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. McDonough and Chapel Hill will round out the year against one another at  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Chapel Hill knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully McDonough likes a good challenge.
