Hesperia extended their winning streak to 13 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Dylanna Akwaboah. The Scorpions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Victor Valley Jackrabbits on Thursday with plenty of help from Akwaboah, who had four digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-19.

Hesperia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kitana Tapopo, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Hesperia's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Victor Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Hesperia and Miller will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Victor Valley, they will challenge Sultana at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
