Volleyball Recap: Decatur Comes Up Short

Decatur entered their game against Midtown on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Decatur took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-21.

Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Midtown, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Decatur will head out on the road to challenge Chamblee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Midtown, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Paideia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
