Baseball Recap: CHASE Comes Up Short

CHASE was the 2-0 winner over Patton when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7 on Thursday. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Landon Millwood was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. CHASE is 4-2 when Millwood posts two or more runs, but 8-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Chase Mcginnis, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

CHASE's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Patton, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.
