Athens is a perfect 5-0 against Warren since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. Athens knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Warren likes a good challenge.

Athens' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Briar Thomas, who threw for 185 yards and three TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. Blake Taylor made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Athens didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Taylor and Cohen Stalder. Taylor got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Warren fell victim to Union Local and their airtight defense last Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 35-0 to the Jets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Athens' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Athens beat Warren 27-14 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
