Bexley is a perfect 4-0 against Franklin Heights since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lions will square off against the Falcons at 5:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bexley and four for Franklin Heights.

Bexley fell victim to Buckeye Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 23-0 to the Barons.

Meanwhile, Franklin Heights scored first but ultimately less than Marion Harding in their game on Saturday. They came up short against the Presidents, falling 21-3.

Franklin Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklinn Patterson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another was McKayla Lemon, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Bexley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Franklin Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything went Bexley's way against Franklin Heights in their previous matchup on April 2nd, as Bexley made off with a 17-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
