Soccer Recap: Jordan-Matthews Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Jordan-Matthews's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Northwood Chargers on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Northwood this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in March.

Jordan-Matthews has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Northwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Jordan-Matthews will be playing at home against Southeast Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwood, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Bartlett Yancey on the 17th.
