The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Columbus Christian Academy 69-31 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Christ the Cornerstone Academy.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from WILL JEFFCOAT, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of MICAH WYCKOFF, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Columbus Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Temple Christian the next time they take the court. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will head out to face Temple Christian on January 4, 2024, while Columbus Christian Academy will head out to face them at TBD on January 5, 2024.
