Baseball Recap: Mary M. Knight Comes Up Short

If Mary M. Knight was riding high fresh off their 22-7 takedown of Wishkah Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Owls lost 22-6 to the Lake Quinault Elks on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Elks: they've now lost six in a row.

Mary M. Knight's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lake Quinault, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Mary M. Knight and Lake Quinault will both be playing Wishkah Valley the next time they take the field. The Elks will head out to face the Loggers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Owls will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
