Football Recap: Midwest City Comes Up Short

Midwest City fell victim to Del City and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Eagles 54-0. The Bombers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Midwest City's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Del City, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midwest City will host Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 4.8 points per game this season, so the Bombers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Del City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
