Volleyball Recap: Northview Wildcats vs. St. Ursula Academy Arrows
Northview dropped to 3-3 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They lost 3-0 to the St. Ursula Academy Arrows. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Arrows when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Frankie Ramsdell-Washington paced Northview's offense, picking up ten kills. Ramsdell-Washington got some help from Alayna Sauer and her 24 assists. Talia Twigg controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
As for St. Ursula Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.
Leading St. Ursula Academy to victory were Ellie Panczyszyn and Blake Schroyer. Panczyszyn had three digs and three aces, while Schroyer had 14 digs and two aces. Panczyszyn has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will take on Bowling Green at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Ursula Academy, they will face off against Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
