Baseball Recap: Assumption Takes a Loss

Assumption was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 9-6 to the Spencer Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-4 on Saturday.

Assumption's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Spencer, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Assumption will host Nekoosa at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spencer, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Athens at 4:45 p.m.
