Softball Recap: Mount Notre Dame Wins Going Away Against Mercy Mcauley

Mount Notre Dame was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Mercy McAuley on Wednesday. Mount Notre Dame put the hurt on Mercy McAuley with a sharp 10-1 win. Considering Mount Notre Dame has won five games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Audrey Gildea spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
